Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé Trincheras 70%

Since it was only a few days ago that I wrote about another Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé bar, I won't now go into too much detail about the appearance of the chocolate and the wrappers. It's pretty much perfect.

I'm not sure if my nose is playing tricks on me or what is going on, but I can't really smell much in this chocolate either (as in the Porcelana). Of course it could just be that there are no aromas in the cocoa or at least they are very mild. There was a mention of mild roasting in the paper slip around the wrapper, but surely the cocoa should have some aromas. It's not totally odorless since I can smell the chocolate while typing this and the chocolate bar is unwrapped about 50 cm from my nose. There might be a slight fruity aroma there, but I'm not sure I trust my nose at the moment.

The texture is smooth and feels very nice, but there are some small issues with how the chocolate makes my mouth feel dry. The thin bar once again makes the melting of the chocolate easy. The melted chocolate liquid is a little bit on the thicker side this time.

There is flavour. There is also some bitterness which actually increases while I'm typing. There are many earthy flavours present like maybe tobacco and almond (I taste marcipan actually). There's not much joy in the flavour in the sence that there's no fruityness or even much acidity in the chocolate. The all around flavour is ok, there's not much wrong with it, but it's just a little bit too "boring" for my taste. I miss the happy-happy-joy-joy flavours.

I thought I tasted something like mint for a while there in the aftertaste. Unfortunately that is just about all there is tastewise here. My mouth feels quite dry and the feeling in my mouth is a bit on the gloomy side of life.

Koska edellisestä Rózsavölgyi Csokoládén suklaalevyn arvioinnista ei ole kuin muutama päivä, en nyt mene sen tarkemmin ulkoasun yksityiskohtiin. Kyllähän ne on kutakuinkin täydellisellä tasolla.

En ole varma onko nokka mennyt epäkuntoon vai mistä on kyse, mutta en meinaa saada tästäkään suklaasta tuoksuja irti millään (vrt. Porcelana). Tietenkin ainakin teoriassa voisi olla kyse siitäkin, että käytetyssä kaakaossa ei vaan ole niitä aromeja. Käärettä ympäröivässä paperinauhassa oli tosin maininta kevyestä paahdosta, mutta luulisi jotain tuoksuja kuitenkin löytyvän. Ei tämä toki hajuton ole tämä suklaa, sillä tätä kirjoittaessa haistan kyllä suklaan avatuissa kääreissä puolen metrin päässä nokastani. Uusintanuuhkaisu antaa pientä vivahdetta hedelmäisempään suuntaan, mutta en oikein luota nokkaani tällä hetkellä.

Koostumus on sileä ja miellyttävä. Suklaa kuitenkin kuivattaa suuta jonkin verran. Ohuet, murretut palaset sulavat helposti eikä imeskelyyn tarvitse varsinaisesti panostaa. Sulanut suklaamassa on tällä kertaa hieman paksumman puoleista.

Suklaassa on sentään makua. Siinä on myös hieman kitkeryyttä, joka itse asiassa tuntuu lisääntyvän tätä kirjoittaessa. Mausta löytyy monia maanläheisiä makuja kuten tupakka ja manteli (tai oikeastaan maistan marsipaanin). Maussa ei ole kauheasti ilon aiheita siinä mielessä, että hedelmäiset ja hapokkaat maut loistavat poissaolollaan. Yleismaku on ihan ok, mutta kyllä tämä jää vähän liian tylsäksi minun makuuni. Tulee ikävä niitä ylipirteitä suklaita.

Luulin maistaneeni jälkimaussa aavistuksen minttua. Valitettavasti täältä ei paljon muita jälkimakuja löydykään. Suuta kuivaa ja tunnelma suussa on yleisesti ottaen hieman synkkä.
